German engineered perhaps but don't mistake "engineering" with "manufacturing".

This VW and ALL Beetles and Jettas made in at least the last approximately 30 years were made in Mexico.

"PAGE TWO"

This page is dedicated to the Carpet Situation.

The Car leakes so badly and created so much moisture that there was

mold and mildew growing, even a weed!

We could never figurre out where the water was coming from and the dealer neglected to advise

us of any recall and apparently couldn't find it either until we told them about the defect and recall.

Apparently the water was coming from a defective draining system that came down from the sunroof,

through the upper frame of the car and gets blocked causing the water to enter the car in an area

that it was simply impossible for us to figure out.

Again, why we were never notified about this recall from the manufacturer or even

told by the dealer is a mystery to us.

No matter how much we vaccumed the water up and cleaned it kept returning.

Mold and Mildew Stains we could not stop or ever eliminate.

Notice the weed in the middle of the carpet.  We left it there intentially to show the dealer.

There was so much moisture the weed was actually growing!

See the weed!

We even tried using Moisture Absorbing Products to help keep up with and eliminate the moisture.

This simply was not enough to be affective with the amount of water that kept occuring.
